We’re excited to announce that we’re taking part in Shitbox Rally Spring 2026! This year we’ll be steering our mighty $1,500-or-less Shitbox (Betty) from Adelaide to Darwin over seven dusty, ridiculous, unforgettable days.
But beneath all the laughs, corrugations and questionable mechanical decisions, there’s a deeper reason we’re doing this.
We’re raising money to help continue the fight against cancer — a battle that touches every family. We’re doing it in honour of those who have beaten cancer, those who are currently fighting, and those we’ve heartbreakingly lost, such as Jacqui's dad.
Every team must raise a minimum of $5,000, with every single dollar going directly to the Cancer Council to support life-changing cancer research. And honestly? We’re proud to do our part.
We had such an incredible time on the last rally — the people, the stories, the chaos, the kindness, the community — and we cannot wait to get back amongst it all again. This year, we’re ready to throw ourselves into the fundraising, the fun, and maybe even put the FUN in fundraising.
Any support, big or small, truly makes a difference.

Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.
The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.
And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
