We're thrilled to announce that we're taking part in Shitbox Rally 2026 - Spring! We’ll be hitting the road in our $1,500-or-less Shitbox, driving from Adelaide to Darwin on an unforgettable 7-day adventure.
We’re two Kiwi lads who love a good road trip, a bit of chaos, and a laugh that probably goes on longer than it should. But we’re doing the Shitbox Rally for a reason that’s a lot bigger than our questionable taste in cars.
Cancer has taken some of our loved ones far too early, and we’ve seen others fight like absolute champions and come out the other side. Research made that possible — and we want to help keep that mahi going.
So here we are: two blokes, one dodgy car, and a mission to raise funds, make memories, and hopefully not break down too many times. If you’re keen to support us, follow along, or just enjoy watching us suffer in the outback, we’re stoked to have you along for the ride.
Every participating team is required to raise a minimum of $5,000. Every dollar raised goes directly to Cancer Council and helps fund vital cancer research, which is why we’re doing everything we can to hit our goal. Your support, whether big or small, will have a real impact.

Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.
The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.
And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
